Rikers Island is a 400-acre tract of land owned by the City of New York located in the East River. The majority of the City's inmate population is detained in the nine institutions located on Rikers Island.
Since 1983, Gonchor has designed and successfully completed more than $650 million of construction on Rikers Island including:
