This entry for the international ideas competition sponsored by the City of Berlin was recognized as one of the top ten entries from American architectural offices. The urban planning concept of linkage is beautifully expressed within this proposal, as new connector buildings and a grand plaza organize the existing historic fabric into a unified whole, expressive of a new reunified Germany.
